(12) Single-trial-EEG-based BCIの開発 ―DBNMによる運動準備電位(BP)の表現―

This study serves as the first step to extend our Bayesian network model (BNM) for single-trial-EEG-based BCI, using independent component analysis (ICA) and equivalent current dipole source localization (ECDL) , to dynamic BNM (DBNM), in order to improve the performance of the BCI. The DBNM approach was applied to Bereitschaftspotential (BP), especially the early-BP (E-BP) and the negative slope (NS'). The abtained 2-slice BNMs contained the (pre-)supplementary motor area ((pre-)SMA), and the (pre)motor cortex, and the somatosensory cortex as nodes for the NS', and contains the (pre-)SMA, and the (pre)motor cortex for the E-BP. The results strongly supported the findings about neural generators for the BP.
