(34) Speckle structures described on the basis of multifractal analysis

Fractal speckles that are produced by illuminating a diffuser with coherent light having a power-law intensity distribution are analyzed by means of a multifractal approach as a continuation of the authors' preceding study. It is shown that deviation of the speckle intensities from rigorous multifractality found in the previous study is attributed to the minimum speckle size existing in actual fractal speckles.
